Manpower for the Macc

FURTHER to the article concerning the clearing of trees and vegetation from the Macclesfield Canal, Ray Butler, Secretary of the Macclesfield Canal Society tells us that more volunteers are still needed.
Anyone with a day, or even part of a day to spare would be welcome, and list the days and locations:
The days
- Sunday 14 Bosley to Macclesfield
- Monday 15 Macclesfield to Bollington
- Tuesday 16 Bollington to Higher Poynton
- Wednesday 17 Higher Poynton to Marple
- Thursday 18 Marple to New Mills
- Friday 19 New Mills to Whaley Bridge
If the workboat is overloaded with volunteers he suggests they can have a go at the saplings on the towpath!
