AT THE WHITCHURCH breach site, CRT/Kier experts have been playing a sort of ''whack-a-hole' game for the last few months.
And no doubt at great expense, something remarkable has been achieved at the far end of the site entirely unnoticed.

Having a Laugh?
Using the material rejected by CRT/Kier as unsuitable (from the 200-year-old embankment!), a lone excavator operator has built guess what?
An embankment. Okay, it's not the right shape, but it proves the point. Look at the tracks left by the 25 tonne excavator—hardly a mark.
Congratulations to that person—a good example of what skill and common sense can do, even with material classed as waste.
Telford would be proud.
