No one owns 'grot spot'

THERE is a 'grot spot' of rubbish in the hedge by the side of the Grand Union Canal at Aylesbury, that no one will admit to owning.

The local Aylesbury Vale District Council states it does not own it, being by Tesco, it was approached but also states it does not own the land and finally Canal & River Trust will not admit to owning it, Alan Tilbury tells us.

For months

Rubbish has accumulated for months along the hedge, with people complaining that it needs moving, but no one is admitting to owning the land.

It was the council who suggested that being by the side of the canal it was the responsibility of CaRT, but its response was that its property ended before the rubbish, though it is thought to be boaters' rubbish.
