THE Lymm Cruising Club is well known for its Christmas activities on the Bridgewater Canal, with this year no exception with the theme being a Dickensian Festival.
Spreading well into the village, with stalls and activities, themed on the Dickensian era, the festival will feature many events including a parade, bands and entertainers, Alan Tilbury tells us.
Santa Dash
Vintage cars and traction engines will also add into the mix, that will of course include Lymn's Santa Dash of fun runners embarking on a 5km route around Lymm.
There will also be an exhibition of paintings and hand-painted cards by local artists in the Village Hall, and of course plenty of refreshments.
It will all conclude with an illuminated flotilla of boats along the Bridgewater Canal.
