THE Slough Canal Festival, organised by Slough Borough Council, will take place at Bloom Park again this year.
It will be held over the weekend of September 10th and 11th and will be free entry together with free parking for vehicles, though a small charge will be made for the boat trips run by Hillingdon Narrowboats Association, Alan Tilbury tells us.
Family event
This is a family event, with plenty of activities and stalls. A stage with music and various acts and plenty of food around the site.
There will also be activities and entertainment for children and the boat trips will take visitors to the end of the Slough Arm and back again.
