THE Dudley No 2 Canal is blocked at Highbridge Bridge by contractor's plant in the waterway.
A mechanical lifting device was stolen from a contractor's enclosure and dumped in the Dudley No. 2 Canal, Keith Gudgin tells us.

The machine is totally blocking the waterway, and as yet there is no intimation when it can be removed, but this is expected to take some days.
