Man arrested for 'narrowboat' death

A MAN has been arrested over the death of a woman on a narrowboat moored on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

The boat was moored by the Anchor Inn at Salterforth, Barnoldswick, with the man arrested over the unexplained death of a woman in her forties, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Investigation

An investigation is now underway by Lancaster Police, but no further details have been released, so it is not known whether the man, in his sixties, was a boater.
