Boater gets his refund

THE matter of the non-refund for over-charging for a licence by Canal & River Trust's Fradley office, has been quickly settled after Pam Pickett's (Caring for customers) article in narrowboatworld and a email to Chief Executive Richard Parry.
The over-charging came about as the boater was charged the full £90 for a canal licence, but as he already had a river licence should have been charged only £45, but the Fradley operative didn't realise that with this boater having a valid river only licence, a discount was in order.
Dealt with immediately
After hearing of the problem Richard had the matter dealt with immediately with the boater receiving his full refund.
Remarks Pam:
"I cannot though fault his action. Swift to say the least—and job done! I am impressed!"
