THERE is a rather ridiculous stoppage notice in Waterscape this morning (Friday), it leaving boater Keith Gudgin to ask: 'Where does CaRT get it's staff from?'
For the stoppage notice reads: Grand Union Canal, Opposite Tesco. Friday 14 June 2013. Please be aware that there is a restriction to width in this area due to a fallen tree.
Which one?
But Keith asks which one? For he can think of at least three Tesco's on the Grand Union Canal, but thinks there are even more.
Obviously the person inserting the stoppage notice doesn't know the Grand Union, but a glance through Nicholson's or such like would quickly show there are many of them.
