Published: Thursday, 05 July 2012

WREXHAM Borough Council are to floodlight the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct on the Llangollen Canal, to give it publicity after it was used to carry the Olympic Torch. This will not be a permanent feature, but just for a few days starting on Thursday 12th July.

Now a World Heritage Site, this will be the first time it has been floodlit, with workers at present installing the equipment.
