Wey boat burglar caught

THE man who it is believed broke into boats moored on the Wey has been apprehended by the police, Kathryn Dodington tells us.

As reported in narrowboatworld the man had allegedly committed a string of break-ins on boats moored on the river over a period of time, with the last three break-ins all around the 20th May, with various items stolen from the boats after the locks had been broken.

The police arrested the man  Kedach Mustapha, who will now stand trial. Nine boats were broken into, and in one break-in items totalling £118 were stolen.
