Missing man discovered in canal

A MISSING 31 years old man has been discovered at Etruria in the Trent & Mersey Canal.

Philip Taylor had gone missing back on the 20th March, with his body now found by the Industrial Museum situated at the junction of the Trent & Mersey with the Caldon, Alan Tilbury reports.

Canal closed

The Trent & Mersey was sealed off and its towpath closed whilst police inspected the area, but tell that there are no suspicious circumstances.

Two ambulances and paramedics attended the scene.
