I have a narrowboat so increasing the licence fee for wide beams does not affect me. I think CaRT should look at the boaters who don't licence their boats, or who don't pay for a home mooring and don't continuously cruise the network.
I am sure if they had more enforcement officers to enforce the rules, genuine boaters, (wide beam owners or not) would not have to pay for the ones who don't play by the rules.
