THE water supply to the tap that leaked at Lower Heyford has now been attended to and is usable, though still leaking a little.
However lower pressure is expected, but the contractors are expected to return this week to complete the repair.
Dangerous ice
This was turned off in the cold weather as there was the possibility of the leak forming into ice across the towpath and being dangerous.
During the time it was out of order Oxfordshire Narrow Boats offered refills at the cost of £3.50 per refill. It is not known if any boaters took up the offer, as it was considered expensive.
