I have just read your article on the dangers of wood smoke from boat stoves, and now intend to do something about the two boats' owners who burn nothing but wood on their stoves, and I get all the smoke.

We are all residents, and those two clubbed together to buy a load of logs for their stoves, and already have upset others by the noises of chopping them down to size, but some of us are getting their toxic wood smoke when the prevailing westerly wind blows.

In view of the proven dangers of such smoke wood burning should now be banned as was coal smoke, another killer.
