BOTH the Sheffield Swingbridge on the Kennet & Avon and the Snaygill Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal are still both out of action.
However, Sheffield Swingbridge will be manually operated 2pm daily until it is repaired Keith Gudgin tells us.
Remains closed
The broken bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool (pictured) is not capable of being operated and so the navigation remains closed at Snaygill.
There is no intimation when either will be repaired.

Both swing bridges are now working, though Sheffield Swing Bridge on the Kennet & Avon Canal is only a temporary repair, that should be fully repaired next week.
