WITH reference to your article by Graham Peers. This is exactly what CaRT do and have done in the 22 years that I have held a Bridgewater Licence, writes Mark Dawson. Bridgewater boats are allowed on limited sections of CaRT waters for a period of up to seven days and after that have to buy a weekly or monthly licence.
Mimicking
The Bridgewater Canal Co are just mimicking what CaRT (BW) have done for years in an attempt to stop the increasing number of CaRT licenced boats that spend months on end on the Bridgewater with a licence.
