Narrowboat taken illegally
A NARROWBOAT was illegally taken from moorings at Cowley on the Grand Union Canal sometime during April—the exact day not being known as the boat was unattended.
The Liverpool 45ft narrowboat Snails Pace, carries registration number 52017, is green with black hull, as seen in the photograph, Alan Tilbury reveals.
This boat has only two of its original three cabin windows either side and is powered by a Perkins 4108 diesel engine serial number 4.ED.502186356105.
Man is known
It is understood the man who illegally removed the boat is known, and it was taken between the 9th and 30th April 2012.
