A CUSTOMER SERVICE FACILITY on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal has still not reopened.
This is at Gilwern by Lock 5, Keith Gudgin reports.
It was on the 6th August when this was closed, the reason being that this was due to a change to driver regulations by the trust's waste management contractor BIFFA.
It then had to suspend the collection service for all waste collection at Gilwern Towpath NP7 0AU until a suitable alternative is found.
It is understood that the trust is searching for an alterative collection point.
