THERE ARE WORRIES ABOUT sources of pollution in the Weaver, that is used for boating.

Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Places Overview and Scrutiny committee is planning to investigate the matter of pollution in the river.
Investigated
After the committee had investigated other rivers that were discovered to have sources of pollution, it intends to react to concerns voiced about the Weaver.
This however will take time and is not expected to be completed until March 2027, as it will be examining all sources of pollution entering the river.
