THE CHESTERFIELD CANAL TRUST is managing the restoration of the next section of the canal.
Using the £5.8m awarded to us by the Staveley Town Deal and the 160,000 cubic metres of clay donated by Suon Ltd.

Because of delays with wet winter weather, the current projected completion date for the Main Works is 29th September 2026. There will be landscaping and planting in November for botanical reasons.
