Walk the route

THERE are two chances to walk part of the route of the planned  Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway in May.

On the Holiday Monday 3rd May, from 10am to 1pm, starting from the Old Rectory, London Road, Milton Keynes, there are two free guided walks (4 or 6 miles) along scenic sections of the route of the waterway—including waymarked sections of the route between Broughton and Campbell Park, with alternative routes taking in the picturesque Ouzel Valley or historic Milton Keynes Village.

Then at Bedford on the 23rd May, there is a circular walk of approximately seven miles has been arranged for that date stating at 10.30am from the Aspects Cinema at Bedford, taking in a section of the River Great Ouse from Bedford to Kempston Mill that will form part of the waterway.
