THERE IS A FURTHER STOPPAGE on the Grand Union Canal.
With the Winkwell Locks being effected, Keith Gudgin reports.
Lock 61 has a broken balance beam, with the lock closed while the repair is taking place.
Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal
The waterway is now closed between Bridge 47 and Bridge 55.
This is due to a bed valve failure, which has resulted in a small leak within the canal bed.
Lee Navigation
The Lee Navigation is closed at Stonebridge Lock 16
The bottom hydraulic gates are not operating, and a closure has had to be implemented at the lock.
We are Informed that a team has been instructed to attend and investigate the issue as soon as possible.
