THE GRINDLEY BROOK CUSTOMER SERVICE FACILITY has been decimated.

Customer Service Facilities Policy
We are told that the customer service facilities at Grindley Brook have now been revised in line with the Canal & River Trust Customer Service Facilities Policy.
And from now on, the only facilities available at Grindley Brook are Elsan and refuse disposal.
Showers and toilets are no longer provided.
There was a temporary provision of showers and toilets in place while boaters were affected by the Whitchurch breach, but this has now ended, as the boats impacted by the breach have moved on.
Public consultation
The trust tells—'These changes are in accordance with the Canal & River Trust Customer Service Facilities Policy, following a public consultation with boaters regarding the minimum level of service provision required across the network'.
