Another winter stoppage added to the list

THE required repairs to Lancaster Canal lock gates have been added to the winter list.

The paddles on Locks 2, 3 and 6 on the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal require repair so have been added to the winter list, Keith Gudgin reports.

Two five day weeks

Work will commence on Monday 9th January and last until Friday 20th taking two five day weeks.

There  has been considerable leakage through the paddles not seating properly so the work will rectify the problem.
