'Listing' boat closes Trent & Mersey lock

NOT now naming sunken boats—it might scare the natives—they are called 'listing' boats!
However, call it what they will, there is a sunken boat in Plants Lock (51) at Kidsgrove on the the Trent & Mersey Canal that has closed the navigation, Keith Gudgin reports.
Twin lock out of action
The notice states that due to an issue with the twinned lock—it is out of action, as seen—navigation is not possible via either of the locks.
It is hoped to recover the boat later today, that most likely has been caught on the cill and sank.
