Chesterfield trip boats start at Easter

THE Chesterfield Canal Trust will be running a host of cruises from three different venues on three different boats starting this coming Easter.

The trip boat Madeline will be running hourly cruises from Hollingwood Hub (S43 2PF) on Saturday 11th April from 10.30, accompanied by the Trust's Easter Bunny.  Every child will receive an Easter egg, with a drink and a hot-cross bun for adults.  All tickets cost £8.  Booking is essential, ring 01629 533020.

'Eggcitement'

Then there is 'Eggcitement' on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April at Tapton Lock (S41 7JB).  John Varley will be running Easter Egg Cruises with children in mind plus crafts.  There will be short cruises every hour from 11.00.
For adults there will be drinks and hot cross buns and of course Easter Eggs for children.  All tickets cost £8.

There will be trips on Hugh Henshall from the Lock Keeper pub in Worksop (S80 1TJ) at 12.00, on Sunday 12th and Monday 13th April 13.00 and 14.00 accompanied by our Easter Bunny.  Every child will receive an Easter Egg, with a drink and a hot-cross bun for adults.   All tickets cost £8.  Booking essential, ring 0114 360 0460.
