A very good suggestion

I have a touch of ‘deja vu’ about this [Toddbrook Reservoir] situation, writes Martin Howes.

Some years ago, a similar occurrence happened at Chasewater, and supplies to the BCN were disrupted.  Once repaired, (by the local council) supplies were never reinstated.

Enjoyed by others

The reservoir is now full and enjoyed by many other bodies.

If the Peak Forest and Macclesfield are still sufficiently supplied, then why not let the interested parties shoulder the cost for their customers benefit?
