A WORKER at Aston Marina on the Trent & Mersey Canal has been found dead on the towpath of the waterway at Meaford.
Joshua Smith was last seen walking to work at Aston Marina four weeks ago, and had been missing ever since, but the body of the 27 years old man has now been discovered on the towpath.
Enquiries being made
This was after weeks of searching, and there is no intimation where he had been, with the body now removed and enquiries being made by the police on behalf of the coroner.
A member of the family had stated on the Facebook group concerning Joshua that 'he had written on the internet that he purchased a quick acting euthanasia drug, and we believe he took this with him on Tuesday morning'.
