Quieter exhaust water-lock

A NEW design of exhaust water-lock has been produced by Vetus, that is claimed to result in half the normal noise level.

Reducing engine noise is of course one of the main functions of a water-lock in the exhaust system, and as maximum noise reduction was not achieved with a dual chamber water-lock, the new design of a triple chamber water-lock was developed by Vetus engineers.

Better noise reduction

It is claimed that this achieves a spectacular 10dB better noise reduction than a dual chamber model, which means in practical terms about half the noise level!

The engine back pressure is also kept within acceptable limits. The water-lock is available with 40, 45 or 50 mm rotating connections for the exhaust hose, and costs £259.00 including VAT.
