LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE a number of navigations have been reopened.

Leeds & Liverpool Canal
The Leeds & Liverpool Canal has reopened from Office Lock 2 to Newlay Top Lock 13.
Following continued monitoring, water levels have risen to a safe level, allowing navigation to resume with the temporary lock closures now lifted.
Liverpool Link
Following the successful completion of works in the central docks by Peel Ports, the Liverpool Link will reopen to boaters from Monday 20th July.
The work closed was from Stanley Dock Bridge to Bascule Bridge. (Pictured.)

Trent & Mersey Canal
From Lock 41 to Lock 71 the trust's team have been working to restore water levels that were too low for navigating.
This is now in its final stages with the team expected to reopen the section for safe passage from 12:00 noon on Wednesday 22nd July.
