THE man discovered injured in the narrowboat is wanted by police in connection with a double murder.

Lee Peacock was discovered on Wednesday evening by the Metropolitan Police officers who had been called to a narrowboat moored on the Grand Union Canal in Ealing, a reader called David reports.

Being sought after

Officers are confident the injured man was the 49 years old being sought over the deaths of two people in central London on the 19th August, and that his injuries are self inflicted. He is at present in hospital in a critical condition.

Clinton Ashmore and Sharon Pickles were fatally stabbed in the neck within hours of each other, with the police believing the two killings are linked and that Mr Peacock knew both the victims and was the subject of a national manhunt after the two people were found stabbed.
