Regents Canal to be closed all week?

IT WAS on Monday that we were informed by Canal & River Trust that the Regent's Canal was closed.
Now it's Thursday, and still no notice of its reopening, it being closed at Kentish Town Lock (3) at Camden, Keith Gudgin informed us.
The reason for its closure was given as being a lock gate had failed and needed 'emergency repairs', which were being undertaken.
Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation failure
The Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation is also closed, this time by an hydraulic failure on a paddle on Eastwood Lock at Rotherham, Keith also reports.
Engineers are currently on site carrying out repairs to resolve the issue.
No intimation of how long the repair will take.
