Should we be paying?

WE HAVE been instructed by Canal & River Trust not to use its waterways, yet we are still paying to use them, writes T Lang.

The law is quite clear—you cannot be charged for a commodity that is not supplied.  CaRT is charging us for a licence to use its canals but tells us we cannot.

Can CART still charge?

So my question is quite simple—can CaRT still charge boaters for using its waterways whilst not allowing use?

I am only hoping that someone will take legal action in this matter, to sort out if we should still be paying or not and be in line for refunds.
