A good time to visit the Nene

SHOULD you be planning a trip to the Nene this year then a good time to visit would be during its festival.

The Festival of the Nene Valley is being held between 14th September and the 22nd September and is now in its sixth year, the festival being co-ordinated by Destination Nene Valley.

Over 50 events

The festival features over 50 events at key locations along the Nene Valley, from Northampton to Peterborough.

It includes family events, guided tours, water pursuits, concerts, cycle rides, local walks, food events and much more, and is recognised as a must for wildlife and culture lovers of all ages looking for inspiration, tranquillity and new experiences.

White Mills Marina is also planning its own activities to coincide with the festival.
