Accosted by volunteers

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with Helen Cripps in her exposé of the lies of CaRT volunteers, writes Jim Cracken.

I too was accosted by volunteers spouting the propaganda that CaRT had been brought in to rectify the mess left by British Waterways, this time from a tent at Bugsworth Basin.

Completely brainwashed

Telling them otherwise had no effect whatsoever, for they had been completely brainwashed and had believed all they had been told, but it was wrong, not only in content but giving people the completely wrong impression, for as Helen pointed out, anyone using the canals over the years (I too have been boating over 20 years) knows who is to blame as Cart has been in charge now for seven years and the ever increasing number of stoppages tell it all.
