The lock will be closed from 8am Wednesday 10th August 2016 08:00 until 7pm Friday August Friday 12th, with no access either from or to the river, Keith Gudgin tells us.
One of the sluices
There are problems with one of the sluices on the lock that is in need of urgent attention, which will warrant the lock being completely out of action for three days.
Alas, unlike the last 'update' to narrowboatworld concerning the Shropshire Union Canal, this will not be done overnight to 'avoid disruption'!
