ANOTHER show over the Bank Holiday weekend will be at Droitwich in Vines Park by the Droitwich Canal.

Starting on the Friday evening the 29th, it will continue over the Saturday and Sunday and Monday with stalls and displays in the park and boats on the waterway, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Music and real ale

There will be the usual canal trips and live entertainment in the park together with a real ale bar and food outlets.

The Plantagenet's Medieval Society will give various displays including musicians, dancing and armour. As tradition decrees, the brine pit will be decked in greenery and tapestry to celebrate the life of St Richard and his statue will be decorated with floral displays by local florists.

Other attractions include stocks, art activities and trips to St Augustine's Church tower together with classic and vintage cars.

Markets

The Italian Market, will be back again together with farmers' markets in Victoria Square and Morris dancing, with St Andrews Church also have stalls and an exhibition by Droitwich Arts Network featuring paintings, drawings and photographs by local artists.

In the town will be various live performances including medieval jesters and childrens activities at various venues.
