The refuge serves the Wilmcote Flight, is situated above Bishopton Lock and was fired late in May, Roger Fox tells us.

There was also damage caused to a narrowboat moored near the refuge.

An appeal has been made for witnesses, and anyone with any information about either of the incidents should contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 383.
