Email: Necessary generators

Generators are indeed necessary for some of us, who do not wish to or cannot afford to install Peter's gadget.

Also I doubt if his setup would run a washing machine or a microwave at all. People should be aware that generators, even my own super silent set, can only be run during the permitted hours, and if the people close to Peter are breaking this rule, some action needs to be taken.

I also agree with the article on people playing at being working boatmen. I think that they should pay the same licence fee as everyone else, (and be charged an additional fee if they insist on wearing bowler hats and waistcoats!) and also be made aware that they are not exempt from closing lock gates, swing bridges, etc behind them.
