Land's End to John O'Groats

Published: Saturday, 16 April 2011

THERE'S a British Waterways man peddling from Land's End to John O'Goats to raise cash for charity.

British Waterways South East's James Clifton is now a week into his madcap bike ride to raise money for the Pepper Foundation, that provides nursing care for sick children.

Survived

He has survived bike break-downs, bee strikes, ingested quite a few bugs (to keep his protein levels up?) and has covered well over 250 miles so far.

You can keep up to date with his progress and make a donation (if you haven't already) on his Just Giving Page.  With a word from his colleagues—'Keep peddling James!'

Up to today (Saturday) James has raised £1,620 for the charity. But this is well over £2,000 with the gift aid.
