THERE ARE THREE NAVIGATIONS that are now back in use.
On various waterways, Keith Gudgin reports.
New Junction Canal
The repair to Sykehouse Lock (pictured) on the New Junction Canal has been completed and the waterway reopened to navigation.
It was closed due to the lock gates being inoperable.
Lancaster Canal
It was lack of water that closed the locks of 1 to Lock 7 on the Glasson Flight of the Lancaster Canal.
But after the increase in recent rainfall there is enough water to reopen the locks with the navigation resumed.
North Stratford Canal
Shirley Drawbridge 8 (pictured) on the North Stratford Canal had a problem with power to its user operating pedestal.
The trust's engineers attended site and successfully restored power to the pedestal.
The stoppage has been lifted and the bridge now operating successfully.
