THERE IS TO BE A FLOATING MARKET at Market Drayton on the Shropshire Union Canal this weekend.
On both the Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of July, Janet Friend reports.
Busy market
This is a free event of course, with the canal side in the town turned into a busy market.
There will be a rich variety of items being offered from hand made items, boutiques, bakeries and even workshops, offering virtually something for everyone.
The floating market will take over the towpath from Betton Bridge to Lords Bridge during the weekend.
Roving Canal Traders Association
It has been arranged by the Roving Canal Traders Association, one of many organised in the summer throughout the waterways.
This event will be open from 0:00am to 5:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
