AFTER the recent downpours the Chesterfield Canal is suffering from lack of water.
Water levels have dropped dramatically over last night, Sunday, between Morse Lock (49) and Worksop Town Lock (50) Keith Gudgin reports.
Closed through Worksop
This has resulted in the navigation being temporarily closed through Worksop.
The reason given is 'vandalism', though no details are given as to what the vandalism was supposed to be.
