Another non reason mysterious closure!

THE navigation closure notices nowadays from Canal & River Trust are completely devoid of information.

This seems to be the new trend of keeping boaters uninformed of either reasons for closures or their length as Keith Gudgin reports.

The latest is Lock 29 at Banbury on the Oxford Canal, with the stoppage notice sent to boaters giving no information whatsoever.

All it tells is the date of Sunday 16th February and 'water resources'. So as Victor would remark—make of that what you will!
