THE WATER PUMP serving Fosse Locks on the Grand Union Canal has failed.
It closing the waterway, Keith Gudgin reports.
This has of course closed the water management operations in the area that is affected.
Assessing the fault
The trust's team is currently assessing the fault and 'working to restore the pump to service' as quickly as possible, we are told.
Specialist contractors have been notified and 'repair arrangements are being progressed'.
Boaters are told that as the repair may take some time they are advised not to plan passage through the lock flight until further notice.
