A LIVEABOARD was discovered in the water by his boat at Hanbury Wharf at Droitwich.

The body of 70 years old Bob Willetts, was discovered in the water on Monday morning at his mooring in the town, Alan Tilbury reports.

Arranging accommodation

He had been resident at the Hanbury Wharf moorings for many years, but was soon to leave as the local council were arranging accommodation for him as there were concerns over his welfare.

A spokesman for the moorings told that they had been in touch with the local council as they were concerned he should no longer be living on the boat being elderly with another winter approaching.

It is understood he was however happy to be there, and that his boat rarely moved.
