Emphasising its own efforts and its own self importance

Published: Wednesday, 02 January 2019

The latest move by CaRT emphasises the good things about volunteering for CaRT, writes Bill Ridgeway.

Other than referencing the Wey and Arun Canal Trust there is absolutely no mention of the existence of any of the many other individual waterway restoration projects.

Fails to mention

It also fails to mention the Waterways Recovery Group (WRG) which brings together volunteers from all over the country into weekend and week long camps to target especially large restoration projects.

Is this yet another example of CaRT over emphasising its own efforts and its own self importance to make itself appear more potent than it really is?
