In the article 'Boat licences up 3% next year' it is stated 'The Canal & River Trust has announced that both private and business boat licence fees will rise by 3% from 1st April 2017, [subsequently changed to 2018]', writes Bill Ridgeway.

CaRT initially issued a press release (or whatever) with the incorrect year. Accuracy and quality control seems to be unheard of at CaRT.

Minimum of scrutiny

Not only is CaRT unable to produce statistics which even a minimum of scrutiny can demonstrate to be unbelievable and unreliable, CaRT doesn't even know what year it's in. How and why should we trust them? How has this bunch of clowns (with apologies to real clowns) been employed and how do they justify keeping their jobs?
