There is no need for Mr Firth to buy an Annual Licence for his Wilderness Beaver. (narrowboatworld, Monday 26th November.)

There are a number of licences that would be more suitable for him that he can purchase from Canal & River Trust. These vary from one day, one week through to one month or longer.

Of course these licences cost more per day than an annual licence, but since his boat is not on the water for much of the year, he should save a reasonable amount of money.
